Elena Molinos is a businesswoman and interior designer with the ability to recreate any place in the world in her home, using only a few accessories and cushions. She found her passion for interior design at a very young age.
It was through that passion that Elena was motivated to start her business, Elena Molinos Design, through which she teaches everyone that it is possible to transform any space in the house using decoration.
“Since I can remember, I have loved interior design and decoration. I make virtual trips and I transform my home based on the culture of each country. That way I learn, travel, and decorate together with my community. We all deserve to live in a place we love. That’s my inspiration.” Elena shares.
Elena’s business focuses on interior design, remodeling and construction. Initially her business was not such but rather a hobby. It was not until her friends, knowing Elena’s qualities to decorate spaces, asked her to remodel their homes or other spaces, that she decided to devote herself fully to what she does today.
“I started designing kitchens. Now I design entire houses, restaurants, and others. I also execute the work and I get involved firsthand throughout the process.” Elena explains.
All people face different types of challenges or obstacles that must be overcome daily to continue on their path towards their goal or destiny. In Elena’s case, she considers that the biggest challenge is bettering herself every day.
“Learn to program yourself for success, work on your confidence, give your best every day, leave excuses behind. In my case, emigrating was also an obstacle that I overcame successfully. Now I feel happy and proud of my path.” Elena advises others thinking about starting their own business.
Elena also understands that some of the challenges that can be faced when starting a business include learning everything about their market and familiarizing themselves with another language in the case of migrating.
When compared to other interior designers, Elena stands out because of her unique style with which, thanks to her creativity, she is able to completely transform the spaces of a home to make them look like other countries.
“So, I travel with my community to India, the Caribbean, Mexico, Greece… and many other destinations. It’s not just decoration, it’s transforming lives.” Elena says, referring to how she transports people to other places in the world through her interior design.
For Elena, happiness consists in being able to make her clients happy. Her customers are always surprised and amazed with the excellent results that Elena’s remodeling and decoration work provides every time.
“When they arrive and see their projects done for the first time, seeing their excited faces… That is the true definition of success. Helping and making others happy.” Elena states.
And to achieve that success it is necessary and indispensable to program yourself to have good results through having a good mindset as it is a tool that helps people to get where they want to be.
“It is important to have the necessary mentality to understand that we are capable of achieving everything and more. Everything is in the mind, the rest is just execution.” Elena adds.
